Deore XT M8100 brakes have a new master cylinder with 2 points of support on the handlebars to provide a smoother braking feel. The levers also have the adjustment knob on the guard and the adjusting screw for the dead stroke of the lever, so that you can adjust the brakes, even while exiting. The 2-piston sorting system for XC use adopts the same design as the XT M8000 tri-sorters, which means that the pads in G02A / 3A / J02A / 3A or G04S / J04C are compatible, while 4-piston version has been completely redesigned, and uses the construction of the XTR M9100.
