The Husky Extreme Felen 2-3-lightweight tent - 2-3 person-Rood is a 2 person tent that can also provide shelter for a 3rd person in an emergency. With a spacious "awning" you have enough options to keep your belongings well protected and dry during bad weather without everything lying in your sleeping area.
With the extremely low weight of approximately 4.4 kg for such a tent, De Felen makes a unique tent. The simple construction and high stability also contribute to this. The lightweight construction is equipped with a special fastening system. And combines textile tunnels and clasps with buckles.
The lightweight tent is certainly a great travel companion for mountain expeditions in very demanding conditions, but also very suitable for a holiday, camp or hike through nature.
Both the tent parts and the floor are made of high-quality materials that ensure breathability and guaranteed comfort.
Below are the main characteristics of the Felen 2-3:
The aluminum Dural used in the tent poles is widely used in the expedition tents where every gram counts. Dural is an aluminum alloy with additional elements due to which its low weight is achieved and, accordingly, have the ability to withstand greater loads.
The inside of the tent is made of the Nylon 190t which contains very lightweight and breathable synthetic fibers with sufficient strength and flexibility. The material is also suitable for Frost because it has good thermal insulation properties. The net mosquito net on the inside of the tent is made of soft, breathable and yet sturdy material which ensures that the insects stay outside but still provides good insulation in the tent.
For the outside of the tent was used 210T polyester ripstop which ensures the extremely light weight of the tent and is tear resistant. The synthetic polyester fibers increase the protection of the tent in harsh weather conditions, fading from the sun, and also has the property of quick drying. The ripstop technology prevents tears and damage, by weaving the fabric in a special way.
To ensure that you stay dry in the tent, a silicone coating of polyurethane (7000 mm / cm2) is used on the outside to protect the material from moisture penetration. The permanent impregnation is applied directly in several layers.
The floor is made of 190t polyester which is exceptional for its toughness. In addition to being sufficiently strong and flexible, it is also very light. The polyurethane coating is a permanent impregnation that is applied directly to the material in several layers. This special textile treatment prevents the ingress of water. This coating has a water column of 11,000 mm / cm2
The tent comes with duraline lightweight pins, repair kit and compression bag.
